Types Of IRAs:

Traditional

  • Contributions may be tax-deductible with potential tax-deferred earnings until you withdraw funds when you retire***

  • A good choice if you know you’ll be in a lower tax bracket in your retirement years

Roth

  • Your money may grow tax-free when you contribute after-tax money, with tax-free withdrawals at retirement when you meet certain conditions***

Rollover IRA

  • If you’re in a new job, simply roll your employer-sponsored 401(k) or 403(b) funds into this traditional IRA

Education IRA

  • Our Coverdell (Education) IRA can be used to pay for higher education, as well as qualified elementary, middle and high school expenses

*The minimum deposit required to open your Share Certificate or IRA Share Certificate is $500; with the following requirements: Must be enrolled in Online Banking or Mobile Banking and receive statements electronically via eStatements. Otherwise, the minimum deposit required is $5,000. You must maintain the minimum balance (i.e.: $500 or $5,000) and required services in order to maintain the Annual Percentage Yield stated on the Rate Schedule, and to avoid closure.

Early Withdrawal Penalty (Effective 12-01-2019)
We may impose a penalty if you withdraw principal from your account before the maturity date. The penalty imposed shall be 90 days of dividends whether earned or not.

Exception to Penalties
The penalties stated above will not apply if:

1.) The Withdrawal is made subsequent to the death of any owner of the Share Certificate account or is made pursuant to the Credit Union’s bylaws.

2.) Such withdrawal is made as a result of voluntary or involuntary liquidation of the Credit Union issuing the account.
